Mrs. Kula H. Hache is the Secretary Administration at SDCA and principal deputy to the Principal Secretary. She is a seasoned civil servant who has also worked in the Provincial Administration and Internal Security docket. Before she joined SDCA, she worked at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Devolution in the same capacity.
She also served as a County Commissioner in Muranga, Kisii and Taita Taveta Counties where her duties entailed supervision of National Government Projects, maintenance of law and order, Implementation of government policies, chaired County Peace Committees and arbitrated community disputes.
Prior to her promotion to County Commissioner, Mrs. Hache served as a District Commissioner in Kirinyaga South (Mwea) where she was charged with the responsibility of implementing and educating the public on Government policies through barazas, civil marriages, handling administration police officers discipline, coordinated and chaired peace committees, arbitrated community disputes, ensured that law and order was maintained at all times and settled land disputes.
She also worked as a District Officer I (Administrative Officer I) at Regional Commissioner’s Office Nairobi (formerly Provincial Commissioner) and Kamukunji division where some of her duties entailed organizing state functions, managing the Provincial Commissioner’s diary, served as secretary to the Provincial Security Committee. She rose through the ranks from a District Officer and served in Kamukunji division, Machakos Central, Kathiani division and Laare Division.
Mrs. Hache holds a MA in Public Administration and Management from Mount Kenya University and B.Ed (Arts) from Kenyatta University. She studied at GarbaTulla High School. She is a member of the Kenya Association of Public Administration and Management (KAPAM).
