Productivity Mainstreaming Commences in Government

The government is set to roll out productivity mainstreaming awareness and sensitization for all MDAs in the next financial year as part of efforts to ensure that service delivery improves and citizens get value for their taxes. 

The planned roll out aligned to the National Productivity Policy (Sessional Paper No 3 of 2013) will see agencies adopt mechanisms lending to the adoption of innovation and continuous improvement techniques within the workplace. The mechanisms include investing in technological improvements, automation and improvement in human resource management practices are expected to see MDAs transform themselves to be more effective and efficient.
